What is the difference between IATA and ICAO?
IATA codes are three letters for passenger-facing use — tickets, baggage tags. ICAO codes are four letters for air traffic control and flight planning, and they encode region in the first letter.
Do arrival times account for timezones?
No. Both timestamps are UTC, and arrival is departure plus duration. Real schedules are published in local time at each end, which is a considerably harder problem.
